Last week, Aljex software hosted an impressive booth and overall presence at the annual TIA conference and exhibition in Las Vegas. Featured as a platinum sponsor, the TIA conference was an opportunity for Aljex to interact with transportation intermediaries, business owners, and key players in the industry.

According to the TIA website, the 3PL industry is a 164 billion dollar industry. The TIA is the voice of shippers, carriers, government officials and International organizations. Within the transportation brokerage industry, which Aljex software focuses its SaaS presence, growth is occurring at 2-3 times the GDP. The TIA conference is the only meeting in North America of this size and stature, bringing together intermediaries from every corner of North America the USA and Canada.

Taking fuAljex-poolpartyll advantage of the pleasant April weather, Aljex kicked off the convention by hosting a poolside cocktail party facilitating the mixing of key industry players from around the country. It was a great way to break the ice and ease everyone into the conference atmosphere at Red Rocks Casino. Later that week, Aljex CEO Tom Heine, lead an executive panel discussion to inform attendees about industry trends and innovations. At the opening session, Aljex Executive VP of Sales, Robyn Freeman, presented the 2017 scholarship award winners with their certificates of completion. Aljex also hosted several break-out meetings and informal dinners to further welcome its customers and attendees.

For Aljex, the large booth presence at the main exhibition floor meant strengthening connections between current customers while generating new leads for future growth. By providing potential customers with a unique opportunity to evaluate the software along side trained Aljex professionals, the company was able to demonstrate key differentiators in the software. Demos showed off the software’s features, functions, and many time saving capabilities. The Aljex exhibit helped reinforce it’s evolving brand, while solidifying its authority and credibility as a leading TMS in the industry.
